Demonstrations against the proposed anti-superstitions Act held at Dombivali !
Swamiji while addressing Hindus |
Dombivali (Maharashtra) : In the four ‘Vedas’ of Hindu Dharma, there are 80 ‘Karmakandas’ (rituals) and 4000 ‘Dnyankandas’. Hindu Dharma is the most ancient; still it is facing danger. In a country where Hindus are in majority, an Act attacking Hindu Dharma is being passed which is very surprising; but this Hindu Dharma can never be eliminated.
If Hindu Dharma is in danger, we will sacrifice our life for its protection. The above views were expressed by H. H. Swami Kevalanandagiri Maharaj. He was speaking during demonstrations staged by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) outside railway station at Dombivali (West). People’s response to the demonstrations was good. Members and office bearers of various organizations like Warakari Sampradaya, Sree Sampradaya, VHP, Rajaji Shivaba Vichar Prachar Mandal, Sanatan Sanstha etc. were present on the occasion.
(Hindus should note that saints have to come on the roads to make an appeal to them, is a sign of Hindus being indifferent. Dharmagurus from Christian or Muslim Sects do not have to make such appeals because they fight against attacks on religion with unity. Hindus also have no alternative but to unite and oppose the said Act. – Editor SP)
…Then Warakaris will break head of the Government ! – H.B.P. Arun Maharaj Kulkarni
H.B.P. Arun Maharaj Kulkarni said, “Warakari sectarians play cymbals and go on pilgrimage; but if such Act is passed by the Govt., they will break heads of the Government.” Mr. Ajay Sambhus of HJS said, “Till now, Mughal and Christians used to attack Hindu Dharma; now, to whom the workers of Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS) are representing? They have connections with naxalites and their getting financial aid from foreign countries has also come to light. Everyone must come together to oppose this Act.” Demonstrations were concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.
