Mahad (Maharashtra) : ‘O Hindu brethren, strongly oppose Maharashtra Government for trying to pass the Act which will eradicate faith of Hindus under the guise of eradication of superstitions. Mr. George Binning, a citizen of England and an atheist is following up for passing of this Act. All wise people should try to find out as to why this stupid man, who is in no way connected to our Dharma, is interfering in our religious matters.

The Government should not adopt double standard and pass such Act which is not at all required. All Hindu brethren should remain watchful and eradicate Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS).’ The above appeal was made by H.B.P. Phanase Maharaj while attending a program at Shri Hanuman Temple on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. He was speaking to members of HJS viz. Mr. Pandurang Dudumkar and Mr. Suresh Purohit when they called on him. Maharaj also bestowed his blessings for the movement undertaken by HJS against anti-superstitions Act.
