Ratnagiri: Shri. Ramdas Kadam, the leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly told reporters of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ that in the Nagpur session of the Assembly, the Blind faith Bill could not be passed due to the opposition of Shiv Sena and BJP MLAs. Now if the Government is planning to take over all temples through another Bill, it will be foiled in Assembly itself. He said further that in the recent session of Assembly it was the ploy of both the anti-Hindu Congress parties to anyhow get the Black Magic Bill passed. But all MLAs of Shiv Sena and BJP opposed the Bill. Shri. Diwakar Raote of Shiv Sena had really taken the Government to task. He explained in the session about how the proposed Act was against interests of Hindus. Therefore, the Black Magic Bill could not be passed.
Now the Congress Government is planning to take over all temples by passing another Act. The Government will take over management of all temples, which means the Govt. wants to bring under their control all the worshipped places of Hindus. But our deities and temples do not require Govt. protection. The religious institutions and temple trusts are run as per the Government rules and guidelines. Still if the Govt. is bent upon bringing the Bill, it will be foiled. The proposed Bill will be opposed in the same manner as was done in the case of Black Magic Bill. The government that is run by two Congress factions is anti-Hindu. This Government has never looked after interests of Hindus and no change in their policies is expected in future. Congress is all set to destroy Hindus.
He stated that the Government is not bothered about so many farmers committing suicide in the State. It has not undertaken any project for generation of electricity. People are facing shortage of power supply. Despite power-cuts, the Government is supplying electricity at higher rate. In Konkan, 40 % of the land owned by farmers is being transferred to moneyed people. Therefore, people are not happy with the manner in which the State is generally run.
