More than 200 doctors participate in a special online conference held by HJS

As an important faction of society, doctors should take active part in serving Dharma ! – Manoj Khadye, Coordinator- HJS, Gujarat State, west Maharashtra and Konkan Region

Kolhapur : Though people may not want a third world war; the current international situation seems to be moving towards a world war. The study undertaken by the United Nations has deduced that third world war might start between Russia and Ukraine. The third world war, which is going to be so dreadful that the first and second world wars would seem like a plaything, is inevitable. There is unrighteousness everywhere in the world owing to the decline in ‘Dharmacharan’. This conference is held to create awareness in doctors for their duty towards Dharma as they are an important faction of society and to motivate them to take active part in protection of Dharma; therefore, remembering the assurance given by Bhagavan Sri Krushna that His devotees would never be destroyed; performing spiritual practice to become His devotees is the only solution for sailing through such severe adverse times. The above views were expressed by Shri. Manoj Khadye, Coordinator of HJS for Gujarat State, west Maharashtra and Konkan Region while speaking in an online conference held for doctors on the topic ‘How to get joy in treating patients during these adverse times and through performing spiritual practice. More than 200 medical practitioners from different streams like Allopathy, Ayurveda and Homeopathy participated in the conference from west Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa. Dr. Jyoti Kale of Sanatan Sanstha also addressed the conference.

One can be happy in any situation by performing spiritual practice which helps in leading stress-free life ! – Dr. Jyoti Kale, Sanatan Sanstha

We are facing a difficult situation due to the Corona pandemic. Doctors are going through stress at physical, mental and even intellectual level. Presently, doctors have to keep themselves stable and take care of their relatives and own family members. Performing spiritual practice to remain happy in every situation is the only solution. 80% of our problems are spiritual in nature. Chanting God’s name, undertaking a process for removal of our own defects and ego and following the path of ‘Ashtaang (eight-fold)’ ‘sadhana’ is an effective solution to such problems. It will help doctors to reduce their stress in life and to remain calm and happy in every difficult situation.

Feedback and experiences shared by doctors

1. Dr. Gorakh Mandrupkar, Sangli – Increase in modernity is leading to neglect of our religious matters. I agree with the views expressed by Dr. Jyoti Kale in her lecture. As an important faction of society, I would like to take part in activities related to nation and Dharma.

2. Dr. Pravin Koli, Bavachi, Sangli – I have been a medical practitioner for the last 23 years. I have been chanting God’s name since I learnt about the importance of chanting. Few days back, one of my relatives was admitted to the ICU and kept on oxygen for Corona. His health was deteriorating. He had no faith in God; but he started chanting the name as advised by Sanatan Sanstha for increasing mental strength during this Corona pandemic period. He started getting better from the second day after he started chanting.

3. Dr. Dnyaneshwar Patil – I have been chanting for 3 hours every day. I need guidance on which name to chant in future and also for following the process of removal of my own defects and ego.

4. Dr. Arvind Sankpal, Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur – I started chanting when I learnt about its importance. I have to take less medicine for my blood pressure and for reducing tension since I started chanting. My mental strength has also improved.
