Online lecture on the topic of awakening valour in women organised at Pune on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi
Pune – When we think of bravery, we remember valiant warriors like Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Ahilyabai Holkar, Rani Chennamma, freedom fighter Preetilata Vaddedar, courageous Avantibai Lodhi etc among women and many brave warriors and freedom fighters among men. Even then, their history, sacrifices, their love and respect for their nation and Dharma etc is not taught to our children which is most unfortunate. Hindus need to become capable, competent, learn their Dharma matters and abide by their Dharma so as to bring change in the current pitiable situation. There is rise in cases of love jihad, rape and oppression of Hindus. Today’s young generation should therefore, keep the ideals of these brave traditions from our history and make efforts to stop oppression of Hindus. The above views were expressed by Kum. Mrunal Joshi of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while speaking on the topic of awakening valour in women. An online lecture was held by HJS on the occasion of Martyr Day of Jhansi’s Rani Lakshmibai. Demo on self-defence was also shown through a video film during this program. More than 100 people attended this online program which was compeered by Kum. Gargi Patil.
Highlights : Demo on self-defence shown in the program led to planning of holding 7-days classes on ‘Shaurya-jagruti (awakening of valour)’.
