Mumbai: Amar Hind Mandal at Dadar, Mumbai has informed that it was firm on its decision to hold inter collegiate debate competition on the topic Blind faith behind opposing the Black Magic Bill on 14th January despite strong protest and opposition from Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). In fact, the Mandal has suggested to HJS that they should try to present their viewpoint through some students in this competition.
When HJS came to know about the competition, a delegation of members met the organizing committee of the Amar Hind Mandal. A letter was also given to the Mandal in this regard. News about the competition was published by daily newspaper ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ to create awareness among people. But the organizers of the competition told HJS members that the competition was for college students. It was an open forum. Anyone could take part and present his views; but it was not possible to cancel the competition. Then the HJS member demanded that HJS also should be given an opportunity to present views on the proposed Bill and its repercussions. The Mandal agreed for the same. HJS has appealed to the students that all committed / devout Hindu students should participate in the competition in large numbers and speak against the anti-Hindu Bill.
