Panaji (Goa) : Sanatan Sanstha teaches how to preserve Indian culture; even then, the last Congress Government unnecessarily harassed innocent Sanatan Sanstha, stated Mr. Lavu Mamledar, MLA, Maharashtra Gomantak Party (MGP) from Ponda in the Legislative Assembly session today.

Mr. Mamledar raised voice against the unwarranted defamation of Sanatan Sanstha under the excuse of Madgaon bomb blast. Speaking on the congratulatory proposal presented on the Governor’s address, Mr. Mamledar, the former Superintendent of Police said, “The Home Minister, involved in the dealings between drugs mafia and police, went after innocent people. To harass Sanatan, he initiated inquiry into Sanatan’s activities; tried to insult Sanatan unnecessarily.

Now under the regime of new Home Minister, law and order situation in Goa is improving. Although there is increase in the incidents of theft, the culprits are promptly nabbed. Moreover, Police will not try to back offenders as they have been given a free hand to apprehend criminals.”
