Demonstrations outside Pune District Collector’s office !
Pune : HJS & Warkaris protest against Anti Faith Bill |
Pune (Maharashtra) : The existing laws are enough to eradicate superstitions; therefore, there is no need for the proposed anti-superstitions Act. If the Government wants to pass an Act, it should be passed for promptly punishing terrorists. The above demand was made by H.B.P. Shyam Maharaj Rathod while addressing the activists of pro-Hindu organizations, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Warakaris during agitation staged outside the District Collector’s office against proposed anti-superstitions Act.
Advocate Mr. Balasaheb Chaudhary of Sree Sampradaya said that conspiracy to eradicate Hindu Dharma is being hatched through the medium of this Act. The Chief Minister should realize that he might have to give up power if he insisted to pass this Act and he should now give up his obsession for passing this Act. H.B.P. Bhau Maharaj Phursungikar, a member of ‘Sri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palakhi Sohla’, H.B.P. Baliram Maharaj Yadav and about 150 activists took part in the agitations. Warakaris were spontaneously raising slogans against the Bill, playing their cymbals. Police said that agitations staged by HJS were always peaceful; therefore, they (Police) didn’t have to worry. They didn’t have to even put barricades. (When will the Investigating Agencies conducting inquiry of HJS realize this? – Editor)
