MLAs promise to oppose the Act
Thane (Maharashtra) : Memorandum was submitted to Mr. Eknath Shinde, Pratap Sarnaik, Shiv Sena MLAs, Mr. Ravindra Chavan, BJP MLA, Mr. Ramesh Patil, MNS MLA, Mr. Ganapatsheth Gaikwad, NCP MLA in Thane district against the proposed anti-superstitions Act aimed at attacking Hindu Dharma. All MLAs promised to oppose the said Act.

Mr. Eknath Shinde, the Chief -Public Relations of Shiv Sena for Thane district said that Shiv Sena has always opposed this Act and they will oppose this Act even now. HJS activists viz. Mr. Omkar Phadake, Prashant Surve, Mr. Chaudhary, Mr. Mayekar, Ajay Sanbhus, Vikrant Phanasekar etc. were present on the occasion.
