Jalgaon: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), an organization relentlessly working for uniting Hindus and protection of Dharma has started a campaign against the website ‘Orkut’. Two private TV channels, ‘Zee’ Marathi and ‘Sahara’ interviewed leaders of Hindu organizations participating in the campaign. A video recording of the denigrating pictures of deities posted by ‘communities’ of ‘Orkut’ was also done.
Shri. Pramod Bhoite, a Hindu said in his interview that under the aegis of HJS, all ardent Hindus and some Hindu organizations have come together to protest against the website. HJS would take the agitation all over the country. A leader of Shiv Sena stated that the Government and police should take action against the website for publishing desecrated pictures of Sree Rama and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj worshipped by all Hindus. It was warned by ‘Chhava’ Youth Organization that all Hindu Organizations will take to the roads if no action is taken against the concerned. Members of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha were also present on the occasion.
