Protest by Reporter of DSP lead to driving out of missionaries !

Mumbai : Few missionaries of an organisation named ‘Kalyan Tabor Dhyansabha Ashram’ were distributing handbills describing greatness of Jesus in the Out-patient Department (OPD) of Nair Hospital and taking disadvantage of sickness of patients. Mr. Nityanand Bhise, a reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat (DSP)’ brought it to the notice of Chief Supervisor of OPD after which the supervisor immediately drove out these missionaries. (Congratulations to Mr. Bhise for forcing Christian missionaries out as they were playing with the sentiments of patients and trying to draw them towards Christianity ! Such devout reporters are the main strength of Hindu Dharma ! – Editor) Many patients were waiting in OPD of Opthalmology  on the third floor of the new building of Nair Hospital run by Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC) at about 1.30 p.m. An educated woman in a saree along with a man in dirty clothes with his cut hand were distributing handbills to patients.   This was observed by Mr. Nityanand Bhise, a reporter of DSP. When he talked to the missionaries, it was noted that they were taking advantage of the sickness of patients and trying to draw them towards Christianity. The man accompanying the woman told the patients that he was very sick; but he prayed to Jesus and he was cured. (Hindus should realize the new ploy of Christian missionaries to use person with physical disability for influencing patients in hospitals. – Editor)

The conversation that took place between Mr. Bhise and the missionaries is given below.

Mr. Bhise (B) : Who are you? Do you have permission of MMC to distribute handbills in the OPD of this hospital?

Missionary woman (W) : We have come from an Ashram in Kalyan. You first read this handbill. The contact numbers are given there.

B : We’ll see that later; first tell me, do you have the necessary permission? Come with me to the supervisor. (Both of them went to the Supervisor.)

B : I had earlier exposed similar matter related to propagation of Christianity by minor children at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST); there also, the children were distributing handbills. Now it is happening in a public hospital run by MMC. These Christian missionaries are taking advantage of sickness of patients to propagate their religion.

Missionary man (M) : There is nothing wrong in this. I was also sick but got cured by praying to Jesus. All problems are destroyed when one worships Jesus. We are distributing these handbills to help patients. (Hindus don’t need Jesus as they have 33 crores Gods ! Since majority patients are Hindus in any hospital, it is the ploy of Christian missionaries to convert them by advising them to pray to Jesus ! Hindus need to realize this ploy and oppose ! – Editor)

B : Why do you tell them to worship Jesus to get well? When Hindus pray to Sree Ganesha, Shiva etc. their problems are solved. There is no need to worship Jesus.

Chief Supervispor (S) : Yes, he is right. Everyone worships as prescribed by his religion. You don’t distribute these handbills and mislead people.
