Memorandum submitted to Thane District Collector for taking action against those involved in Pune bomb blasts

Thane (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to Deputy District Collector, Mr. Manoj Ranade demanding quick nabbing of and stringent action against the culprits in Pune bomb blast case. It has been mentioned in the representation that ‘after blasts in German Bakery, serial bomb blasts at important places in Pune have endangered life of millions of people in the State. Indian Mujahidin had dared to send a letter to the Police on 12th June about their intention of taking revenge of murder of its terrorist Qatil Siddiqui at Yeravada Jail by blasting bombs in Pune; but no action was taken on the letter. Afzal and Ajmal have been sentenced to death by the Supreme Court but the Government is still taking care of them for the Muslim votes; therefore, terrorists are now emboldened.’
The representation was submitted by a delegation of HJS comprising of Mr. Prabhakar Parab, Pramod Deshpande, Vijay Mayekar, Ashok Changan, Prasanna Dhage, Smt. Rajashree Manjrekar, Kesar Girkar and Mr. Ratnakar Jomraj.
