Success of HJS : Words denigrating Shri Krushna in Marathi Movie ‘No Entry – Pudhe Dhoka Aahey’ to be removed

August 26, 2012

O Hindus, let us pay gratitude at the holy feet of Shri Krushna for this success !

Mumbai : The objectionable words ‘Gokula madhe raas khelalaa’ have been removed from the song making mockery of Bhagavan Shri Krushna in the forthcoming Marathi film ‘No Entry – Pudhe Dhoka Aahey’ produced under the banner of ‘Underground’. A letter to theabove effect was sent to Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the district coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad by Mr.
Ankush Chaudhari, the director and actor of the film and Mr. Nikhil Saini, the producer.

The words of the song were denigrating Bhagavan Shri Krushna worshipped by all Hindus. The song filmed on half-naked girls dancing to the tune of western music had objectionable lyrics which should be removed from the song or the film should not be issued certificate. A representation with the above demand was submitted to the Central Film Censor Board by Mrs. Varsha Thakar on behalf of HJS. Mr. Satish Kocharekar of HJS called up Director Ankush Chaudhari and demanded to stop this denigration. Mr. Chaudhari responded positively to the demand and discussing the matter with the producer, it was decided to change the words from the song. In this song, in place of ‘Gukula madhe raas khelala Gopikansave sham’, the changed words will be ‘Houn gele Majanu, Ranza, popular bade unke naam’, informed Mr.  Chaudhari to HJS through a letter.

HJS protest against Marathi movie ‘No Entry – Pudhe Dhoka Ahe’ for denigrating Shri Krushna

August 24, 2012

Mumbai : ‘No entry – Pudhe dhoka aahe’ is a new Marathi film under the banner of ‘Underground Films’ produced by Mr. Premnath Gopalan and Nikhil Saini; the film is directed by Ankush Chaudhary and will be released on 7th September 2012. In song ‘Gokulaa madhe raas khelalaa…’ in the said film, there is denigration of Bhagavan Shri Krushna worshipped by all Hindus. The song has been filmed on the beats of western music with half-naked young women. This song and other objectionable portion of the film should be omitted; else the film should not be issued certificate of release. A representation to the above effect was submitted by Mrs. Varsha Thakar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the ‘Central Film Censor Board’. (Why the so-called powerful pro-Hindu organisations never feel like taking such action that even a small organisation like HJS does about denigration of Deities and seats of worship of Hindus? – Editor SP)

In the representation, it has been further mentioned by Mrs. Thakar that such denigration of Shri Krushna has hurt religious sentiments of millions of Hindus all over the world. Bhagavan Srikrushna was the ‘Purnavataar’. The acts performed by Him in His childhood awaken ‘bhav’ towards Him even today.

In ‘Gokul’, Shri Krushna played ‘Raas-leela’ and graced ‘Gopis’, the great devotees of Shri Krushna. It was a spiritual experience given by Shri Krushna to His devotees. Instead of taking into consideration the sanctity of the relation between the Lord and devotees, it has been shown through the song that ‘Raas-leela’ means lust.

Such denigration is infuriating. The officers of the Censor Board need to have knowledge on the subject before issuing certificate to films or such depictions; but from the films certified by the Censor Board these days, it does not seem that officers have such knowledge. It is our demand that necessary action may be taken against the above film and we may be informed about the same; else, HJS will stage strong lawful agitations. Ms. Anita Balani and Mrs. Aditi Thakar of Sanatan Sanstha were also present on the occasion.

One cannot ne a Hindu if his blood does not boil on reading this ! The objectionable song from the sid film is as given below :
