‘Sundar Garden Mitramandal’, which had organised HJS’ exhibition on revolutionaries, gets 1st prize

Pune (Maharashtra) : Last year, ‘Shrimant Dagadu Sheth Halawai Sarvjanik Ganapati Trust’ had held competition on the occasion of Ganesha festival. Among 302 ‘Mandals’ from South region taking part in the competition, ‘Sundar Garden Mitramandal (SGM)’ from Sinhgad Road got the first prize. This ‘Mandal’ had held exhibition on life-history of revolutionaries devised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). (Congratulations to SGM for holding ecxhibition creating awareness amongst people about revolutionaries! Other Ganeshotsava Mandals can follow the idea of SGM and undertake drives related to welfare of Nation and Dharma ! – Editor SP)

The judges had visited SGM when the exhibition was put up. The VCD was made on SGM wherein the exhibition was also video-recorded. The Home (State) Minister, Mr. Satej Patil attended the prize-distribution program held at ‘Ganesh Kala Kreeda Manch’. The prize comprised of testimonial letter and cash prize of Rs. 35,000/- . This year too, SGM will be undertaking projects involving enlightenment of society.
