Pen (Maharashtra) : Encouraging response to HJS drive for Ideal Ganesha festival !

Pen (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been undertaking a drive, for the past 9 years, before and during Shri Ganesha Festival, for creating awareness amongst people towards ideal celebration of this festival so as to acquire maximum grace of Sri Ganesha. Under this drive, HJS holds meetings with Geneshotsava committees that celebrate this festival publicly, Police and the Administration for creating awareness on how to eliminate malpractices taking place during the celebrations and how to celebrate the festival in an ideal manner. As a part of this drive, a representation was submitted by HJS to Dr. Sandip Chavan, the Tehsildar of Pen and senior Police Inspector, Mr. Mirghe on ideal celebration of this festival. Tehsildar, Dr. Chavan appreciated the activities undertaken by HJS.

The representation was submitted by a delegation comprising of its members viz. Mr. Jagannath Jambhale, Devidas Mhatre, Arun Bhoir, Pandurang Andre, Santosh Diwekar, Gajanan Gurav, Anant Mhatre, Omkar Gurav, Manish besides Mrs. Varsha Gurav and Rasika Gurav. The Ganeshotsava public Committees are responding to the HJS drive in positive manner.
