Jalna (Maharashtra) : In a meeting held at Datta Mandir, Masta Gad, Pu. Mahant Akash Maharaj (Kothi Baba) made an appeal that all Ganesh-devotees should come together extensively during Ganesh festival and like the slogan ‘Swaraj is my birth right’ raised by Lokmanya Tilak, stop every attack on Hindu Dharma. The meeting was organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to explain about the ideal manner of celebrating Ganesh Festival. Representatives of various Ganesh Festival Committees and more than 150 devout Hindus attended the meeting.
Mr. Ashok Kulkarni of HJS said that malpractices should be avoided in celebration of Ganesh festival.
Pu. Kothi Baba said that last year, a program of ‘Lavni’ was cancelled after awareness was created among the members of festival committee.
