Guidance by HJS in meeting held by police with Navaratri Mandals

Pune (Maharashtra) : A meeting was held by police from Sahakarnagar with Navaratri Mandals wherein guidance was given by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on science behind celebrating this festival. The meeting was held yesterday evening at Sahakarnagar Police Station to discuss problems and solutions. Senior Police Inspector Kamalakar Takavale, Mr. Uday Jagatap, the President of ‘Adarsh Mitramandal’ and Mr. Gaikwad, a social worker attended the meeting. Mr. Chintamani Mujumale of HJS explained the science behind rituals like lighting of lamp for 24 hours, playing ‘garba’, performing ‘kumkumarchan’ etc. More than 100 office bearers of the Navaratri Mandals and members were present on the occasion.  The members of ‘Mandals’ said that they liked the guidance and got useful information about the festival.
