Agitation will take severe turn if State Govt. ignores the issue ! – H.B.P. Bhagavan Kokare Maharaj
Mumbai : 18 States in this country have passed law banning cow-slaughter; but Maharashtra Government has not yet thought about passing the same. The condition of State is not so bad that it has to survive on export of animal meat. Hindus, who revere cows, will not henceforth, tolerate killing of cow only for appeasement of minorities and provoking Hindus. The State Government should immediately pass the law banning cow-slaughter.
A huge rally will be taken out mainly for the above demand on Monday from Girgaum Chowpatty to Mantralaya. If the Government chooses to ignore the agitation, it will take a severe turn, was the warning given by H.B.P. Bahaman Kotare Maharaja, the founder of ‘Rashtreeya Go-vansh Raksha Samiti’ to the State Government while talking to the reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’.
H.B.P. Kokare Maharaj said, “Token ‘Hunger strike’ has been undertaken from 2nd November at Azad Maidan to further the above demand. We have, however, not been called by the Government for discussions even once which shows that the Government is not serious about the matter. This agitation, therefore, will not be restricted to only Mumbai; but it will spread all over the State. Hindus have to resort to agitation during their Diwali festival. Hindus don’t want to indulge in violence during the days of festivities; but the State Government should not dare to ignore Hindus’ demand. The movement started by Hindus, is not sponsored by any political party or organization; but is of all Hindus united in this State. We will welcome all those who are against cow-slaughter. All slaughter houses which have become the base of corruption, should now be closed down. H.B.P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal, the President of ‘Maharashtra Warakari Mahamandal’ will also be joining the rally.”
Spontaneous participation of all organizations and Sects !
About 300 organizations viz. Warakari Sect, all Jain religious organizations, Shri Sampradaya, Shri Vardhaman Parivar, RSS, VHP, Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Bajarang Dal, Hindu Sangram Sena, Bharat Swabhiman Sanghatana, Shri Akhil Bharateeya Krushi Go-seva Sangh, Shiva-pratishthan, Sarvodaya Sanghatana, Akhada Parishada, Shetakari Sanghatana, Samartha Sampradaya, Arya Samaj Sanghatana, Chhava Sanghatana etc. have joined the agitation spontaneously.
