Take necessary action on HJS representation ! : Sangli DC to ‘Chief Controller of Explosives’

Drive under taken by HJS for banning crackers with pictures of Deities and great national leaders !

Sangli (Maharashtra) : Last month, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to the District Collector with a demand to ban crackers with pictures of Hindu Deities and great national leaders. Taking note of that representation, the office of District Collector has written a letter to the office of ‘Chief Controller of Explosives’, Nagpur, ‘Tamil Nadu Fireworks’ at Shivkashi; so also to ‘All India Federation for Fireworks Association’, ‘Krushna Fireworks’, ‘the Coronation Fireworks Factory’ for taking necessary action. (District Collectors from other places should follow the example of the office of District Collector, Sangli and help in protection of Dharma ! – Editor SP)

The District Collector has also sent a letter to the Superintendent of Police, Sangli for the purpose. District Collector, Mr. Deependrasingh Kushwah and resident Deputy District Collector, Mr. Uttam Patil took initiative in this regard.
