HJS participation in a programs held on TV channels during the Ganesh festival

Special interview shown on ‘Swaranjali’ TV channel on the occasion of Ganesh festival!

Solapur : A special interview with Mrs Rajashree Tiwari of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was telecast on the ‘Swaranjali’ TV channel on the occasion of the Ganesh festival. She was interviewed by Ms Varsha Jevale of HJS. Mr. Dayanand Mamadyal, the Editor of the ‘Swaranjali’ channel extended special help for telecasting this interview.

Various topics were discussed during the interview such as ‘Why is Shri Ganesh worshipped before starting of any work?’, ‘Why are red flowers and ‘durva’ offered to Ganapati?’, ‘How should be the Ganesh idol made as per the science?’, ‘Among the Ganesh idols with the trunk on His left side and trunk on the right side, why Shri Ganesh with the trunk on the left side is generally worshipped?’, ‘What is the science of immersion of idols and how to immerse idols during the period of Corona pandemic?’, etc.

Highlights

1. Thousands of people watched this interview; therefore, the science of celebrating the Ganesh festival could reach a large number of people.

2. Many religious rituals are performed during the Ganesh festival, but its science was understood through this interview, was the feedback received from a few viewers.

Solapur : Mr Ravindra Jogipethkar, the editor of ‘Satyadarshan’ news channel had organised a special program in the background of the Ganesh festival, including Shri Ganesh aarti. Mr. Dattatreya Pise of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) explained the importance of worshipping Shri Ganesh at the beginning of every auspicious task; why Shri Ganapati is offered red flowers and ‘durva’; why should the idol with a trunk on the left side be generally worshipped and the method of immersion of idols during the period of Corona, etc.

The program was compeered by Ashwini Sardeshmukh while Ms Tanushree Jogipethkar (age- 9 years) and Soham Jogipethkar (age- 11 years) recited the Ganesh stotra, Ganesh-stavan, Hanuman -Chalisa, Ganapati’s shlokas, etc. The program was attended by some of the local dignitaries.

On 16th September 2021, at 7.50 a.m., Solapur radio station broadcast information compiled by Sanatan Sanstha on the occasion of the Ganesh festival The information included the importance of Shri Ganesh-pujan at the beginning of every auspicious occasion; reasons for offering red flowers and ‘durva’ to Shri Ganapati and immersion of Shri Ganesh idols during the adverse time of Corona, etc.
