‘Online’ special interaction on ‘Moplah’s riots : 100 years of Hindu genocide’

The Moplah’s riots in Kerala was a ‘jihad’ ! – Advocate Krushna Raj

The Moplah’s riots of 1921 date back to the First World War. In this riot, the Government employees, Police and the then British soldiers were attacked and Hindus were massacred. The riots lasted for about six months. The jihadis declared that this was their movement, that it was their victory, but this was not a movement, it was a ‘genocide of Hindus’. Mohandas Gandhi had made many shocking statements such as ‘Muslims persecuted Hindus in Moplah’s riots; however, Hindus should bear this atrocity’ for ‘Hindu-Muslim unity’. The Mopla riots were part of the ‘jihad’; in fact, even the rioters accepted it as ‘jihad’, asserted Supreme Court Advocate Krushna Raj. He was speaking in the online special interaction organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.’Moplah’s riots: 100 years of Hindu genocide!’.

The founder-editor and writer of ‘The Dharma Dispatch’, Mr. Sandeep Balakrushna said that in the name of Khilafat movement, the Ali brothers united the Muslims by calling for ‘jihad’ against the British. When the Ali brothers were captured by the British, the Moplah Muslims carried out a horrific massacre in Kerala. These Moplahs not only caused riots, but also massacred Hindus in a well-planned manner. Muslim women were also involved in the riots. Sadly, the massacre by the Moplahs was recorded in history as a ‘Muslim movement against the British’ and was taught as such in textbooks in Kerala; however; now the truth about it is coming to the fore.

President of Annapurna Foundation Mr. Binil Somasundaram said, ‘Hindus were openly oppressed in the Moplah massacre. The riots were staged to establish Islamic rule. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Moplah riots, Hindus in Kerala paid homage to the ancestors who lost their lives in the riots and also tried to create awareness through various means. Since the Sabarimala agitation in 2018, the Hindu community in Kerala has now awakened without the support of any political group or anyone else.

National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr. Ramesh Shinde said that there is an attempt to spread false propaganda in our country. It is said that the riots took place in Godhra and Mumbai. When Hindus resist an attack on them, they are called ‘terrorists’. Foreign historian Stephen Dale has written that the Moplah riots were a ‘jihad’. Dr. Ambedkar also wrote in his book ‘Pakistan or the Partition of India’ that the riots in Moplah were caused by Muslims. He also said that the Khilafat Committee was first set up in 1920 at Malabar in Kerala. Collector of the British period C. Gopalan Nair has also described the Moplah riots in his preliminary report. Despite this, attempts are made to hide the history of ‘Moplah riots’ so that Hindu society will still remain in delusion. Hindus should be alert and vigilant.
