Study Hindu Dharma and refute wrong objections raised against Dharma : Dr. Uday Dhuri

Spontaneous response received for the online lecture on ‘Dharma’ organised by ‘Sanskar Bharati’ at Dadar (Mumbai) !

Mumbai – Since the last few years, misconceptions are being spread in society about Hindu Dharma and our history. Our Holy Scriptures are being ridiculed. It will be difficult to maintain our existence if these things continue. Do not allow any kind of wrong objections against our Dharma. Study own Dharma and perform spiritual practice to refute the false propaganda against our Dharma, appealed Dr. Uday Dhuri, the Mumbai spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) during a lecture on the subject ‘Dharma’ organised by ‘Sanskar Bharati’s Dadar branch. The program was attended by the members of ‘Sanskar Bharati’ and devout Hindus. Mrs Sharmila Bangar of Sanatan Sanstha explained to the participants about the campaign undertaken to spread knowledge given in Sanatan’s holy books under ‘Dnyanashakti Prasar Abhiyan’.

The program started with Mrs Ranjana Jogalekar, the President of ‘Sanskar Bharati’s Dadar branch performing ‘Nataraj-pujan’ and lighting a lamp; followed by the singing of ‘Dhyeya Geet’. Madhukar Agashe, the Secretary of ‘Sanskar Bharati’, Dadar informed the participants about various activities undertaken by ‘Sanskar Bharati’ and Mr Shashi Limaye explained the purpose of holding such lectures while explaining even the activities undertaken by Sanatan Sanstha. The program ended with clarification of doubts asked by the participants and recitation of ‘Pasaaya-daan’.

In his lecture, Dr Dhuri said, “Hindu Dharma has been created by God for the overall progress of human beings. We should note that Hindu is the only Dharma in the world and the rest are all sects. There is no proper word for ‘Dharma’ in English; therefore, it is called religion. The word religion has been derived from the verb ‘relegate’ meaning to put someone in a lower or less important position, but ‘Dharmacharan (abiding by Dharma)’ will lead to progress; means we reach a higher level; therefore, do not fit Hindu Dharma in the bracket of religion.
