Panvel (Maharashtra) : We are against the proposed Anti-Superstitions Act. We will not allow to get this Bill passed in any case. We will foil the ploy of the Government to pass this Act. The above warning was given by Mr. Vivek Patil, the PWP MLA elected from Uran constituency. A representation was submitted to him by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) against passing of anti-superstitions Act when he expressed the above views. Mr. Vishnu Pawar of Shri Sampradaya, Mr. Tushar Kadam of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Balawant Pathak, Mr. Milind Poshe and Mr. Ganesh Bagal of HJS were present on the occasion.

Highlights

1. MLA Mr. Patil was presented with a book titled ‘Hindun chya Mulawar Uthalela Andh-shraddha Nirmulan Kayada (Anti-superstitions Act which is an attempt to eliminate Hindus)’.

2. When people who had come to meet MLA Mr. Patil were explained about the Act, they too said that they would oppose this Act.
