HJS effect : distribution of handbills denigrating Shriram stopped by Dr. Reddy’s

All India distribution of handbills containing denigration of Prabhu Shriram has been stopped by Dr. Reddy’s Company : Effect of Dr. Nitin Dhavan of HJS from Pondaghat (Sindhudurga) creating awareness towards the issue

Kanakavali (Maharashtra) : In a handbill published by Dr. Reddy’s Company for advertising of its new medicine on constipation called ‘Gutfeel’, there was a denigrating picture of Prabhu Sriram worshipped by all Hindus. This was observed by Dr. Nitin Dhavan from Pondaghat, Kanakavali Taluka who is an activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). He immediately brought the matter to the notice of Company’s representative visiting him for advertising of that medicine and made him aware of the denigration. The issue was also informed to HJS and the representative was duly explained the effects of denigration. The representative got panicked and called his senior officer to meet Dr. Dhavan. Dr. Dhavan explained to that officer (Regional Manager) about denigration of Deities and activities undertaken by HJS against such denigrations. The officer realized the seriousness of the issue and rendered apology to Dr. Dhavan assuring him of not repeating such mistake. He also promised to withdraw the handbills at all India level.

Denigration observed in the handbill

On the first page of the handbill, published in English, it has been asked that how many arrows were used by Rama to kill Ravana.  There is a caricature under this question holding many arrows in his hand and it is mentioned there to find out answer from inside page. Inside, there is a picture of Prabhu Sriram wearing a coat and stethoscope around his neck with a bow in his hand with an arrow on which ‘gutfeel’ is written. In front of this picture on the next page, there is a picture of Ravana shown in the form of the ailment of ‘constipation’. It is shown that Prabhu Sriram used arrow in the form of ‘gutfeel’ to kill Ravana in the form of constipation. On the last page of the handbill, it is written, “Have faith in ‘Gutfeel’ and kill constipation on this Dassera”.
