We are opposed to this Act right from the start. We will not let this Act pass in the session.
I oppose Anti-superstition Bill ! – Mr. Shashikant Shinde, MLA, NCP
I oppose Anti-superstition Bill. I already oppose any thing which attacks Hindu Dharma. When this Bill was brought before Cabinet for discussions, I raised a query what about the fact that many MLAs adorn talisman and amulets in their hands and necks ? Varakaris also oppose this Bill. If the government passes this act, it will have to face opposition from 20 lakhs of Varakaris.
