Saffron attire of the waiters on ‘Ramayana Express’ insults Hindu ‘Sadhus’ !

Lucknow (UP) : Indian Railway has recently started ‘Ramayan Express’ and the waiters serving people food on this train have been given a uniform of  Hindu ‘Sadhu’. This is an insult of Hindu ‘Sadhus’.

Mahamandaleshwar of Panch Dasnam Niranjani Akhara and National Secretary of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha Dr. Annapurna Bharti has recently lodged a strong objection to the attire of the waiters on the Ramayana Express train. She said that, this is an insult to the attire of Sanatan Sanyasi tradition. Which the sanyasis will never tolerate. The government should take immediate notice of this. Strict action should be taken against the concerned department on this mistake, so that in future no one makes such mistake, reported by Jagran.

Dr Ashok Shinde, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha from Khed (Ratnagiri) had objected to it; writing a letter to the General Manager of ‘Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)’ demanding a change in this uniform. IRCTC’s Joint General Manager Achyut Singh has replied to his letter wherein he has stated that the Railway has taken note of the issue related to the uniform of waiters and necessary action would be taken to change the uniform of all staff members on this train, reported by Sanatan Prabhat.
