Tribute to CDS Gen. Bipin Rawat and others at Willingdon College, Sangli by various dignitaries!

Sangli : The country’s first Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat and other officers died in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu. Rich tributes were paid by ex-servicemen and civilians alike at the Willingdon College here on December 11 from 10.30 am to 5 pm. . It was jointly organized by Willingdon College and the Indian Ex-Servicemen’s Council.

BJP MLA Sudhir Gadgil, Willingdon College Principal Tamhankar, Retired Officer Wing Commander Prakash Navale and his wife Mrs. Aruna Navale, Group Captain Shrikant Walwadkar, Col. V.V. Harugade, Lieutenant Colonel M.D. Kulkarni, District Administrator of Sanskar Bharti Sangli Mahanagar Shri. Visubhau Kulkarni, District President Shri. Madhav Vaishampayan, Mrs. Smita Pandit, Dr. Venkatesh Jambagi, Shri. Amit Marathe, Shri. Girish Pujari of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and others offered tributes to the deceased.
