In one city, members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) attended a program held by a pro-Hindu organization in November 2012. A senior officer of Intelligence Bureau made inquiry about HJS activities with an office bearer of that pro-Hindu organization under this pretext. The officer asked ‘since when the pro-Hindu organization was associated with HJS; since when did he know the activists of HJS; did they hold joint meetings with HJS’ etc.
Was it love and respect of the Intelligence officer towards Dharma or an attempt to gain sympathy for acquiring information ?
Two officers of Intelligence Bureau joined few drives of Sanatan Sanstha spontaneously. One officer sponsored ‘Sanatan Panchangs’; joined drive of getting sponsors for Sanatan Panchangs and helped Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organized in that area whereas the other officer bought books published by Sanatan and some of its products.
