Petition for ban on Sanatan Sanstha !
Mumbai : ‘The Central Government has received a confidential letter from the State Government on Thursday; therefore, detailed study of this letter will have to be undertaken to decide whether Sanatan Sanstha is a terrorist organization. In this background, various departments will have to be consulted. This process may take about 30 days. The Court should, therefore, give a later date of hearing.’ The above demand was made by the advocate of the Central Government before the Bench of Mumbai High Court with Justice Ajay Khanavilkar. The Court has accepted the request and adjourned hearing till 18th April.
Vijay Rokade has filed a petition for imposition of ban on Sanatan Sanstha. Since the last hearing, the State Government submitted papers to the Central Government related to ban. Today, there was hearing on the said petition when the advocate of the Central Government gave the above reason requesting extension of time. Justice Khanavilkar granted time but admonished the advocate on delay by the Government.

Presently, no comment on the proposal of ban on Sanatan Sanstha ! – Mumbai High Court
|
Mumbai : Public interest litigation (PIL) has been filed in Mumbai High Court demanding imposition of ban on Sanatan Sanstha (Sanstha). Today, there was hearing on this case before the Bench of Justice Ajay Khanvilkar. Pleading on behalf of the Sanstha, senior advocate Jha clearly said, “The motive of petitioner is not right and the Court should listen to what the Sanstha has to say.” On this Justice Khanvilkar said, “Presently, the Court cannot comment on the proposal of ban on Sanatan Sanstha.”
Mr. Vijay Rokade and other 3 persons have filed this PIL demanding ban on Sanatan and hearing is going on for many days. The State Government had stated during earlier hearing that a proposal to impose ban on the Sanstha was sent to the Central Government in April 2011. In this background, advocate G. R. Sharma, pleading for the Central Government stated that ‘The Central Government had called for some more details on this proposal; but the same have not been submitted by the State Government.’ Then Justice Khanvilkar asked the State Government as to why the details were not submitted. Giving verbal reply to this query, the advocate of the State Government said that the details asked by the Central Government were sent to them on the previous day. Listening to this, Justice Khanvilkar stayed the hearing till 11th March 2013. The advocate of the Central Government stated that decision on the subject would be taken within 45 days. While noting down this statement, Justice Khanvilkar said, “We have not made any comment on the statements made by the petitioners, State Government and Central Government. The respondent will be given due opportunity to present their side.”
Seekers, be ready for likely ban on Sanatan !
By name Congress; but by acts ‘Muslim League’; it is certain that such Congressmen will impose ban on Sanatan. If ban is imposed on Sanatan, some seekers may have to go to jail; therefore, they should be ready for anything. Whether we are in jail or at home, let us make attempts to undertake spiritual practice in any situation as per the guidance received so far.
Stance of Sanatan
1. No charge sheet has been filed against Sanatan in any bomb blast case. Sanatan’s involvement in terrorist activities has neither been proved nor has any charge sheet been even filed against it in such case.
2. Sanatan Sanstha does not hypnotize anyone for undertaking spiritual practice nor is it involved in any malpractices. If hypnotization was possible for carrying out such acts, there would have been upheaval in the whole world.
