‘Hindutva’ provides solution to all problems of country, says RSS chief

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) : ‘Hindutva’ way of life can end all ills of the society," Mohan Bhagwat said while speaking at prant ekatrikaran of swamsevaks at super corridor in Indore on Sunday.

Elaborating further, Bhagwat said that all the problems of society including the Hindu-Muslim conflict can be resolved with the Hindu way of life.

"This can not be done through politics; it can be done only through social change. For this we need leaders with a clean image having the confidence of society," Bhagwat said, adding that we cannot look towards the west for everything.

Instead, we should focus on reinventing our old system and culture which has many things to offer to the world, he said.

Hinting at western influence on the society, Bhagwat said that history has taught us that whenever a country has deviated from the Hindu way of life it has been enslaved and ruled.

"Despite our huge diversity our culture is one common thread that connects the entire country and whenever we have deviated from our culture and tradition our unity has been broken and external forces has managed to rule over the country," Bhagwat said, urging the need to bring about a change in society’s environment.

He stressed that change can be brought in only when every individual will take a conscious effort in this direction without waiting for someone else to take the lead.

"Individual efforts with collective unity can bring change in society," RSS chief said.

Giving example of Ramayana, Bhawat said when Sita was kidnapped by Ravan it was not only Ram’s fight but a fight between culture and the devil, where everyone comes together to fight with Ram to reinstate culture and defeat the evil. Similarly we all have to come together to bring a change.

He further elaborated that culture makes society and society is the destiny-maker of the country. So in order to make a glorious country we have to make a strong society.

In a bid to dispel the fear of certain sections of society, Bhagwat said RSS is not opposed to anyone.

"We take everyone along and only those who fear that their interests will be hampered with the RSS’s work, speak against our organization," Bhagwat said.
