Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) : A Dharma-Sabha (Public meeting to awaken Hindus about Dharma) is organised jointly by Saraswatidevi birthday celebration committee and Bhojshala Liberation Yadnya Committee at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday the 22nd January 2013, Nath temple, South Tukoganj, Dhakkanwala Kuvva, Madhumilan Chowk, Indore. In this meeting demands as given ahead will be raised.

A) The temple of Shri Saraswatidevi (Bhojshala) is one and only temple in Bharat. Only Hindus should be given the opportunity to worship in the temple throughout the day on the occasion of ‘Vasant Panchami’ being held on 15th February; Muslims should not be allowed to offer Namaz on that day.

B) The idol of Shri Saraswatidevi imprisoned by the BJP Government in Gwalior jail should be liberated. An appeal to Hindus to attend the Dharma-sabha in a large number is made by the guide of Saraswatidevi birthday celebration committee and Bhojshala Liberation Yadnya Committee Mr. Navalkishore Sharma, in a press conference. On this occasion, Pujya Swami Gunanandji Maharaj, Chairman of the Committee Mr. Motilala Ratnagar, Vice-Chairman Mr. Madanlal Lakhawat and State convener Mr. Dinesh Devda were present.

The temple of Shri Saraswatidevi (Bhojshala) at Dhar is under the control of Department of Archaeology; Hindus are allowed to perform darshan only once in a week on Mondays, whereas, the Muslims are given the freedom to offer Namaz on Fridays in this Hindu temple. Hindus are permitted to perform worship only once in a year on the day of ‘Vasant Panchami’.

Mr. Navalkishore Sharma further said in a press conference, “A memorandum signed by thousands of Hindus demanding that only Hindus should be given right to perform worship in the temple of Shri Saraswatidevi for the whole day on ‘VasantPanchami’ and Muslims should offer Namaz elsewhere on the day of ‘Vasant Panchami’as a part of social obligation will be submitted to the BJP government. State government along with religious and social organisations are also requested to extend their cooperation.”
