Shahapur (Dist. Thane, Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held ‘Hindu Sabha (sabha)’ at Laxmi- Narayan Temple which received very good response from local Hindus. Representatives of many pro-Hindu parties and organizations attended the ‘sabha’. It was unanimously decided to protest against the statement made by the Central Home Minister about ‘saffron terrorism’ and to meet once in every 15 days.

Mr. Shankar Godbole, the retired Principal of RSS said on this occasion, “Out of its helplessness for votes, the Congress is insulting Hindus. In the elections of 2014, if everyone shows Congress its place, only then the attacks on Dharma will stop.” Mr. Ashok, a member of Zilha Parishad said, “All Hindus should unite and keep in constant touch with each other.”

Mr. Ravi Patil of Bajarang Dal narrated an incident on how sale of ‘Cross’ was stopped due to unity. The meeting ended with recitation of shloka.
