‘Respect National Flag’ campaign undertaken in Raigad District

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and other institutions undertook following drives under their campaign for maintaining honour of national flags at many places in Raigad District like Panvel, Khanda, Kalamboli, Kamothe, Karjat and Rasayani.

•  Representations submitted at 19 schools and 2 colleges

•  Lecture held at 10 schools

•  Quiz Contest held in 5 schools

•  Awareness on the subject was created among more than 2000 students

•  Representations submitted to Tehsildars of Panvel, Karjat, Rasayani, Khalapur and Chowk, representations submitted at police stations in Kalamboli, Panvel, Rasayani and Karjat.

•  An exhibition on life history of revolutionaries was organized by ‘Sanatan Sanstha, Raigad Trust’ at Maharashtra Education Society’s ‘Dnyan Mandir’. 2000 students, 100 teachers and school staff visited the exhibition. The exhibition received good response from teachers.

•  Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held an exhibition on life of revolutionaries at Shivaji Chowk in Chopda on the occasion of republic Day. Many local citizens visited the exhibition and commended this campaign.
