Takes cognisance of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s ‘Save Forts’ campaign
Kankavali : Union Minister Narayan Rane has taken cognisance of poor condition of Vijaydurg fort in Devgad taluka. He has asked the officials of the Central Archaeological Department to work on this issue immediately. A letter in this regard has been received from the department. ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is not a political but an emotional topic’. BJP MLA Nitesh Rane told the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, “We will work with you whenever you approach us to unify the Hindus.”
MLA Nitesh Rane took note of the Vijaydurg Fort Conservation Campaign carried out by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti under the ‘Save Forts’ Campaign and contacted the Samiti’s volunteers. After that, Dr. Nitin Dhawan, Shri. Jaywant Samant and Shri. Milind Parkar called on MLA Rane at Rane’s Lifetime Hospital office at Padve in Kudal taluka. MLA Rane was apprised of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s mission and the ‘Save Forts’ Campaign undertaken by the committee in the state.
MLA Rane said
1. Since we Hindus are not united, religious fanatics are free to act as they wish and they make full use of it. This is the reason social menaces like ‘Love Jihad’ are spreading around. Children in schools everywhere wear uniforms; however, some people are insisting on ‘hijab’.
2. There is a propaganda from certain communities that ‘Prime Minister Modi started corona vaccination to reduce their (a particular community’s) numbers’. Now, instead of carrying out a direct terrorist attack, pressure is being exerted by a certain community by increasing its own population.
3. All Hindu organizations should come together and work to change this situation. There should be awareness among Hindus. Call us wherever there is a need to unite Hindus, we will definitely cooperate.
I will fully cooperate in the conservation work of Vijaydurg fort ! – MLA Rane
Vijaydurg is a fort in my constituency and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a seat of our faith. I will fully co-operate with the Samiti in this regard. When the archeology department team comes to inspect Vijaydurg fort, we will also invite Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, MLA Rane said.
