Pune : Hindus protest against ‘saffron terror’ remark and proposed ban on Hindu organisations

Hindus should come together under the banner of ‘saffron flag’ ! Demented Sushilkumar Shinde and R. R. Patil are trying to impose ban on Sanatan Sanstha. We challenge them to impose ban on Sanatan Sanstha and we will make it difficult for them to live’, was the open warning given by Mr. Dhananjay Desai, the Founder-President of Hindu Rashtra Sena to anti-Hindu rulers. He addressed the gathering after conclusion of protest march organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). On 12^th February, 1500 Hindus took to road protesting against accusation of ‘saffron terrorism’ made by Central Home Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde and State Home Minister, R. R. Patil. All participating Hindus, wearing saffron caps, turbans, flags, sarees, bands / ribbons etc., gave a call condemning those who are making accusations of ‘saffron terrorism’.

It’s time to show ‘saffron’ power to Hindu-haters ! – Mr. Dhananjay Desai

Central Home Minister, Sushilkumar Shinde has become demented while serving Sonia Gandhi; therefore, he is talking about ‘saffron terrorism’ and banning pro-Hindu organizations. Time has now come to show the power of ‘saffron’ to ‘green’ brood of Hindu-haters. ‘Saffron’ is a colour that takes one from darkness to brightness (Tej). All Hindus should unite forgetting their sects, caste and creed to fight against terrorism.     

Mr. Gajanan Nerkar: Those, who claim that terrorism has no colour, should note that it has only ‘green’ colour. Term of ‘Saffron’ terrorism is used to mislead people. Remember the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for giving an apt reply to such accusations and create new history of valour !

Mr. Ganesh Ghosh, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha : It is very unfortunate that rally had to be taken out for survival of Hindus. Today, due to uselessness of Congress, such rally had to be organized. Hinduism means Nationalism! Show Congress its right place in the forthcoming elections for bowing before an Italian Lady ! Fight till undivided Hindustan is re-created !     

Mr. Sunil Ghanavat, State Coordinator, HJS : A list of terrorist organizations has been declared recently that does not have the name of even a single pro-Hindu organsiation. Such accusation is being made by Congress only for bringing ban on pro-Hindu organizations and for political gains. Lack of unity amongst Hindus is the cause of this situation. If the Government wants to see the power of Hindus, then say so; we are always ready. Show the lifeless Government its proper place in the forthcoming elections !  

Mr. Gajanan Keskar, Sanatan Sanstha : ‘Saffron’ colour denotes sacrifice and detachment and not terrorism. The Government is trying to impose ban on Sanatan and Abhinav Bharat. It is the outcome of over-tolerance of Hindus. Sanatan Sanstha is engaged in imparting ‘Dharma-shikshan’ based on spiritual science; therefore, even if ban is imposed, those, who have understood what spiritual practice is, will continue the same. The Government cannot bring a ban on it.

A representation was submitted to the District Collector at the end of the rally, demanding that  ‘accusations of ‘saffron’ terrorism should not be made and no ban should be imposed on pro-Hindu organizations’.

1. Mr. Dhananjay Desai of Hindu Rashtra Sena had specially come from Gujarat. He praised the child activists and mothers taking part in the rally. Looking at the participation of women in the rally, he said that it was a sign of awakening of ‘Matru-shakti’.

2. Participants were carrying hoardings with pictures of Swami Vivekananda, Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Lokmanya Tilak and Bhagat Singh and it was written on them that ‘Is fighting for country, terrorism?’

3. It was being appealed to people that ‘Take part in rally and show your Hinduism’, with the initiative of Mr. Shivaji Chavan of ‘Patit Pavan Sanghatana’.

4. The rally was taken  through Furgusson College Road, Sant Tukaram Maharaj Mandir, Ghole Road, Jhanshi chi Rani Chowk and was concluded at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan.   

5. Garlands offered by Mr. Sharadbhai Shah, the President of Pune Branch of ‘JITO’ and Prof. Gajanan Nerkar, the President of Hindu Mahasabha for Pune city for the statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj at Deccan.

6. Welcome of rally by Mr. Anil Shirole of BJP at ‘Sant Tukaram Paduka Chowk’ by breaking a coconut.

7. Welcome of rally and ‘puja’ of ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ by Mr. Amar Wable of ‘Samasta Hindu Aghadi’ at ‘Jhansi chi Rani Chowk’.
