Worshiping the family Deity is the first step of spiritual practice ! – Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) : In Kali Yuga, Namasmaran (chanting) is the most effective type of spiritual pratice according to time. If we regularly chant the name of God, then the process of purification of our mind and intellect begins. By chanting the name of the Deity of the clan in which we were born (our Family Deity) gives rise to our own spiritual and material upliftment. The first step of the spiritual practice as stated in Dharmashastras is to worship the Family Deity. By chanting the name of the Deity, the Muladhara Chakra of the one who is chanting is awakened and the Kundalini energu starts moving upwards. For this, it is necessary to worship the Family Deity regularly, said Sadguru Dr Charudatta Pingale, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. He was giving a discourse on ‘Spirituality for a Happy Life’ at the Tekdiwale Hanuman Temple in Taraganj here. This program was organized by a devout Hindu Shri. Santosh Chalisgaonkar. Many spiritually curious people took advantage of this event.

Highlights

1. Mr. Santosh Chalisgaonkar wholeheartedly involved himself in the preparations for the discourse. Therefore, after the cleaning of the temple, a Diwali-like atmosphere was created.

2. A devout Hindu Shri. Surendra Tripathi travelled all the way from Morena, 40 km away, to attend the discourse.

3. After the discourse, attendees Madhu Singhal and Mrs. Bhide, started chanting.

4. Many spiritually curious people who were taking darshan from outside the temple were informed about the discourse. After that, many listened to the entire discourse.
