She was speaking at an event organized by Triveni Shikshan Sansthan and United Nari Shakti on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Mulund.
She further said that the current situation at the international level could lead to a global war in the future. This could further increase internal instability in the country. We have to be prepared to face any situation. Dharma education will inculcate bravery while training will give physical and mental strength.

HJS invited to talk on ‘Rajmata Jijabai’ in International Women’s Day program!
An event marking the International Women’s Day was organized by Agari Ranaragini Foundation at Shri Kereshwar Mandir Karavi in Pen (District Raigad). Hindu Janajagruti Samiti was invited to the event. Self-defense techniques were demonstrated to the attendees. Mrs Visakha Athavale of the HJS spoke on the necessity of moulding oneself as Jijamata is inevitable if we want to mould a Shivaji Maharaj. The president of the foundation, Mrs. Deepali Bhoir felicitated Mrs Athavale.
Mrs Athavale, in her guidance said, “Everyone thinks that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be born; But for Shivaji to be born, Jijamata has to be there (meaning the qualities of Jijamata are what made Shivaji Maharaj what he is). Jijamata instated a the curiosity for spirituality and pride for Dharma in Shivaji Maharaj through stories from Ramayana & Mahabharata at an early age. This created Hindavi Swarajya. That is what today’s woman should aim to do. For this, if the woman of the house practices Dharma, then the whole family will practice Dharma. Every family will become cultured. In the modern age, women want freedom; But freedom is not wantonness. She is independent; But it is also important to consider whether she is safe. Today, atrocities against women are on the rise. The reason for this is lack of Dharma education. Dharma can be followed only by learning about Dharma. This in turn inculcates self-confidence, with which we can face any situation competently. We have ideals like Rajmata Jijabai, Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Ahilyabai Holkar. Let’s create a love for DHarma like them and mould the next generation.”
