Amravati : Today woman has become well educated; But she will be truly competent only if she can defend herself. Women who wake up after a rape incident should not only march with a candle but also decide to teach a permanent lesson to a man who looks down on a woman. That is why every young woman and woman should become self-reliant by learning self-defense training. Today, there is a need for women who can defend the nation, protect themselves and create a cultured generation, said Advocate (Mrs.) Prajakta Jamode at a grand women’s meet organized by Bharari Sangh and Matoshri Sangh at Amba Mangalam office.

At this time Mrs. Archana Mavale presented a demonstration of self-defense techniques. After listening to the subject and watching the demonstrations, the women present expressed their determination to learn self-defense training. More than 350 women from the area attended the meet.
