In a small ‘Dharma-rath (vehicle)’, books published by Sanatan and its other products are carried to various villages for sale and that also helps in propagation of Dharma. Seekers went to a police station seeking permission to sell books and products through ‘Dharma-rath’ in two villages in a district when they had the following experience with police.

1. Seekers had gone to police station to take permission for putting up exhibition of books. The Police Inspector (PI) said, “Isn’t there a ban on Sanatan? Do you have material which can provoke religious sentiments?” (When there is no ban on Sanatan and a police inspector does not have knowledge of this; how such officers must be running a police station. If police are aware that there is no ban on Sanatan and still they are making such statements, it shows their attempt to de-moralize seekers. – Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

Seekers informed that there was no ban on Sanatan; then the police asked for papers related to the vehicle (Dharma-rath) which were submitted by seekers. Then the police said, “The senior officer is not available; you come tomorrow.” On the following day, seekers went to the police station in the morning and showed ‘zerox’ copies of papers related to the vehicle. Police, however, refused to grant permission asking for original papers. Seekers told police that the original papers were in the vehicle after which permission was granted only for putting up exhibition in the evening with a condition stipulated by the PI that the exhibition should not be held at two places. (Will police show such daring to followers of other religions by stipulating such conditions and keeping them waiting? – Editor Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. In another village, in the same district, seekers had gone to a police station for permission to sell books and other products; permission was given for the following day. These police were sent a message on wireless machinery for not to grant permission immediately and to conduct thorough inquiry of seekers.
