Magh Shuklapaksha 9,Kaliyug Varsha 5114

Prayagaraj (UP) : After the last Holy bath of Vasant Panchami was over, and Sants, Sages and Mahamandaleshwars of Juna Akhada departed from Kumbh city, Panchayati Akhada also left Kumbh Mela on 17th February. Nonetheless, the residents of Kumbh Mela performing sadhana (Spiritual practice) are still staying back. Due to incessant rains and stormy winds experienced continuously for 2 days after the Holy bath on Vasant Panchami, the life in Kumbh city has gone haywire. The system had collapsed all over the place. Therefore, some sects departed from Kumbh Mela much before their pre-planned schedule. Now, Akhadas have started to leave. Panchayati Akhada has announced the departure after performing religious ritual. Responsibility has been delegated to newly appointed 8 Mahants and 8 Up-Mahants by putting tilak on their foreheads. Afterwards, Dharma-dhvaj (Flag of Dharma) was taken down.
