Devgad : Hindu pundits faced severe atrocities and there was genocide of Kashmiri Hindus since they did not become alert and take action in time. Even in Sindhudurga, there have been cases of love jihad. We now have to be alert and unite so as to avoid facing a similar fate like Kashmiri pandits, was an appeal made by Manoj Khadye, the State coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for west Maharashtra, Konkan and Gujarat while addressing ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Sabha’ held at Munage in Devgad taluka.

Mr Manoj Khadye addressing the ‘sabha’

The ‘sabha’ was held in the hall of Sri Bhagavati Mandir. The ‘sabha’ was started with lighting of lamp by Sadguru Satyawan Kadam, ‘Dharmapracharak’ of Sanatan Sanstha while Manoj Khadye garlanded the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Manoj Khadye said further, “The Government has taken over hundreds of temples including the main temples under the pretext of their proper management. The money collected in the temples is being looted. There is misappropriation of hundreds of acres of land belonging to Sri Vitthal-Rakhumai temple of Pandharpur. Some of the land has, however, been reclaimed owing to the fight given by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and soon, even the remaining land will be reclaimed. It is the duty of every Hindu to join the fight against corrupt practices. Every Hindu needs to become competent to join such fight by abiding by his Dharma. Only then, will we be able to get God’s grace.”

2. Neelam Nilesh Sawant – This ‘sabha’ has created a desire to do something for the mission of establishment of Hindu Rashtra.

3. Vishwas Shankar Munagekar – Such ‘sabha’ are necessary for propagation of Hindu Dharma. It will help to make Hindus aware of the need for unity.

4. Sakshi Jayaram Ghadi – HJS ‘sabha’ should be held at least twice in a year. The young generation is going astray; busy in wrong thoughts and sanskars; therefore, such ‘sabhas’ are necessary.

5. Prasad Parab – The esteemed speakers talked about the present challenges before people and their solutions, giving important information.
