Act stringently against such religious fanatics who are disturbing religious harmony !
Ram Navami was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm all over the country, but there have been incidents of stone-pelting and serious attacks on the processions reported from many states. The attacks were carried out by religious fanatics in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bengal, etc. On one hand, the communists, secularists, and the progressive factions demand action against Hindus Saints and ‘Dharmacharyas’ accusing them of increasing tension and communalism in the country, while the same people keep quiet when there are attacks by religious fanatics on Hindus during Hindu festivals. We are all familiar with the Mughal iconoclasts. During invasions, they attacked, destroyed, and desecrated millions of Hindu temples in India. They also partially destroyed thousands of temples and built mosques over them. Recently, the Supreme Court of India has decided on one such case pertaining to Shriram Janmabhoomi. In an eerie coincidence, as the foundation of Shriram Mandir is being built, religious fanatics attacked the processions taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami in different parts of the country. It is a serious matter and the Central Government should immediately take note of it. Nobody should try the patience of Hindus now. The people who attacked Ram Navami processions, are the descendants of those iconoclast Mughals. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) demands that the guilty should be stringently punished.
It is quite infuriating that such incidents happen all over the country during Hindu festivals, but nothing much seems to be discussed in the mainstream media. A procession taken out by Hindus on the occasion of Hindu New Year was brutally attacked by religious fanatics at Karauli in Rajasthan. Many Hindu shopkeepers from that place are planning to sell their shops and flee for their lives. What happened with Hindus in 1990 in Kashmir, seems to be repeating in other places in India. There have been instances of similar attacks during Navratri and other Hindu festivals.
At JNU, not only is the birth anniversary of a demon like ‘Mahishasura’ celebrated but slogans are raised to divide India into pieces. The slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Ram Navami Puja’ are, however, not tolerated. Some violence was reported from JNU on 10th April. Overall, it appears to be a well thought of conspiracy. Therefore, HJS appeals to the Hon. Central Home Minister Amit Shah ji to conduct an in-depth inquiry into all such incidents.
