Panvel ( Maharashtra ) : Various programmes are organised in Shri Ramdas-Maruti Temple on the Tilak road at Panvel, between 26th February to 7th March to celebrate the festival of Ram Navami. One of the programmes also includes the recitation of Gazals by A.K.Shaikh in a programme ‘Gazal Eke Gazal’. Therefore, proud Hindus are expressing rage against the trustees of the temple. (Would Muslims have arranged a programme of singing devotional songs of Hindus in their Masjid ? The trustees of the temple are causing a  of harm to Hindu Dharma by violating the sanctity of temple under the pretext of ‘giving equal respect to all religions’. Hindus should demand clarification from the trustees over this issue ! – Editor Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

When one proud Hindu informed Mr. Sudhakar Paddhye of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti about organising a programme of Gazals in the temple, Mr. Paddhye along with Mr. Milind Poshe of Samiti educated the trustees of the temple Shri. Gangal and Shri. Appa Bhide. When the trustees were told, ‘Such programme will cause a lot of harm to Hindu Dharma and violate the sanctity of temple’, the trustees arrogantly replied without giving any hearing, ‘Only you feel that way. Nothing of the sort happens. We shall organise the programme.’ One of the proud Hindu organisations also opposed the proposal of trustees, but the trustees did not bother about it also. Therefore, Hindus are expressing their strong displeasure over the issue and registering the protest against the act of the trustees.
