Sangli (Maharashtra) : The provisions in the proposed anti-superstitions Bill are attack on Hindu Dharma. It is a ploy to pass such Act only to please few people. The proposed Bill is anti-Dharma; therefore, if presented, it will be quashed. The above warning was given by Shri. Sambhajirao Pawar, MLA and Regional Vice President of BJP on 7th March in a press conference held in the evening at ‘Sampat Naagari Pata-Sanstha’.(Shri.Sambhajirao Pawar, MLA and Regional Vice President of BJP has expressed resolve for foiling attempts to get anti-Dharma Bill passed in the State Assembly session; elected representatives like him are the true strength of Hindu Dharma ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat ) Shri. Sachin Pawar, the Area-Chief of Shri-Shivapratishthan and Shri. Dattatreya Retharekar and Prashant Chavan of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion.
MLA Shri. Sambhajirao Pawar said
1. People are not fools; let them take a decision as to which law they want or don’t want. The Government should not interfere by passing laws related to faith.
2. When the existing laws are adequate and capable to take care of offences related to superstitions, there is no need for a new Act. If it is passed, there will be outrage of people.
3. Warakaris, ‘Dharma-gurus’ of Hindus have not been taken into confidence, consulted while preparing the draft of the said Bill.
