Phalgun Shuklapaksha 2, Kaliyug Varsha 5114

Rajim (Chhattisgad) : ‘Kumbh-Mela’ is being organized for the past 8 years and is known as ‘Rajim Kumbh’. It is organized by Cultural, Charity and Tourism Department of Chhattisgad Government with the initiative and active participation by Pujya Saint Shri. Bal Yogeswar Shriram Balakdasji Maharaj. Law banning cow-slaughter has been passed in Chattisgad due to the initiative taken by Maharaj. Maharaj is a link between Saints and State Administration. Guidance given by Pujya Maharaj from every platform is always frank, clear and based on principles. On the occasion of ‘Rajim Kumbh’, from 3rd March, meetings of Saints were organized twice every day where Saints were presenting views on various subjects. Pujya Maharaj is always trying to bring all Saints on one platform besides expressing his own views.

Regarding ‘Gou-raksha’ and ‘Gou-seva’, he said,

1. ‘Rajim Kumbh’ is a platform for Saints and nobody should use it for politics.

2. The Government is distributing wheat and rice at Rs. 2/- per kg. I am making a demand with the Government to supply even fodder and place for ‘Gou-mata’ at the same rate.

3. While making an appeal to Saints, he requested them to first talk about actual action taken in the context of preservation and growth of cows; as a lot has been said on what was done or will be done.

4. Pujya Maharaj made an appeal to all Saints, from the stage itself, that Saints should try to meet other Saints; exchange views etc.; instead of sitting in the houses made available to them during ‘Kumbh-Mela’; only then, the purpose of organizing ‘Rajim Kumbh-mela’ would be served.
