Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : ‘In the Assembly session held at Nagpur earlier, Chief Minister (CM), Pruthviraj Chavan has removed the shortcomings and doubts of Warakaris related to the (fake) anti-superstitions bill. Since the obstacles in passing the Act have been removed, there should be no problem now in passing the said Act. The bill will be passed in this session’, stated Anna Dange, former Minister and the President of Sri Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir Committee, Pandharpur on Thursday. He was speaking in the ‘Sri Dnyaneshwari Parayana Sohala’ held at 6.00 p.m. at Sri Ganesha and Vitthal-Rukmini Mandir. (The Govt. has not removed any of the oppressive provisions destroying Hindus’ faith from the proposed anti-superstitions bill; still elected representatives like Dange are telling lies; therefore, Hindus should unite and teach such representatives a lesson. Does Dange, who is trying to get such Act passed which will put restrictions on Hindus from abiding by their Dharma,  has right to give lecture? Establishment of ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is needed to change this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. On 19th December, Warakaris took out a march to protest against this Bill at Nagpur. On that day, a meeting was held with the CM at 8.00 p.m. with representatives of Warakaris in which the CM had agreed to remove the clauses not acceptable to Warakaris. (The clauses have NOT been removed from the Bill and the Govt. is deceiving Warakaris ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. We don’t want to hurt anybody’s faith or sentiments. (Does this mean that Anna Dange is an agent of the Govt.? Warakaris should keep away from such Govt. agents ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) ‘Dev-devarshi’ should be eliminated; quacks should be deterred. (For which, ther is no need for a new Act; but the existing Acts should be implemented properly. If people are imparted ‘Dharma-shikshan’, it will stop malpractices from all fields. There is an Act prohibiting consumption of liquor; but in reality, there is no such ban. Similarly, thinking that what Anna Dange says will happen, by passing anti-superstitions Act, is in itself a superstition! What Dange is going to do for its eradication? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Dr. Mansingh Shinde and Shri. Shivananda Swami of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) met Anna Dange and gave him a copy of the representation against passing of anti-superstitions Act. Anna Dange asked why the representation was being given to him when it should be given to the Chief Minister. He said since the Act has been modified by the CM, problems of Warakaris have been solved. There are so many groups of Warakaris and any group can say anything. (Warakaris should keep safe distance from such persons who hold such opinions about the Sampradaya ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
