Lecture by HJS on ‘Shivaji Maharaj’ cancelled owing to pressure by NCP and police

Mumbai : One of the ‘Mandals’ organized some programs on the occasion of ‘Shivaji-jayanti’ including a lecture by an activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the subject of ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Hinduttva and ‘Hindu Rashtra’, need of the hour’. This lecture had to be cancelled due to pressurization by police and few workers of NCP.

1. Invitation cards were printed for the program giving details of programs including the said lecture, name of the speaker and topic of his speech.

2. Announcement of the program was done on a loudspeaker through a vehicle owned by a Muslim; but the announcer was not giving information about the lecture. (Hindus should note the mentality of Muslims ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) On realizing this, one of the activists of HJS enquired with the member of this ‘Mandal’.

3. The member of ‘Mandal’ said police conducted inquiry because we kept a lecture by HJS activist. (Police conducting inquiry only after keeping a lecture by HJS, don’t inquire about programs held by followers of other religions. Lack of unity and ‘Dharmabhiman’ amongst Hindus, is the reason that police bring pressure in this manner. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Few members of NCP advised that programs by HJS or Sanatan Sanstha should not be arranged in this village. Nothing against Muslims should be said in the lecture. (Hindu-hatred of NCP ! Appeasement of Muslims done by NCP all these years has resulted in even their lowest workers not ready to listen to true history of atrocities by Muslims. Such political parties, which are making Hindus impotent, will never do anything in the interest of Hindus. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Funds have been taken from the NCP member for the program; therefore, ‘Mandal’ has to listen to him. 4. Only true history and facts will be presented through the medium of lecture so what is wrong with that?, asked an activist of HJS; but owing to political pressure, the members of ‘Mandal’ did not listen to HJS activists informing them about cancellation of lecture.
