Sanatan Sasntha takes part in gathering of Saints held at Bhavani-Patna ashram of H.H. Asarambapu

Bhuvaneshwar (Odisha) :  In the ashram of H. H. Asarambapu at ‘Bhavani-Patna’, Orissa, a gathering of Saints was held to discuss issues related to cow-slaughtering and protection of cows. Shri. Prakash Malondkar, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha expressed his views on the said topics. Shri. Malondkar explained the spiritual significance of cow, slaughter of cow taking place on large scale, benefits of keeping a cow, political apathy towards these issues, importance of protection of cows, remedy on cow-slaughter etc. He said that establishment of Hindu Rashtra is the only answer to various attacks on Hindus.

Shri. Maolndkar said, “Everyday 50,000 cows are slaughtered. At the time of getting independence, there were 90 crore cows and 90 different Indian species of cows existed in India; but now only 1 crore cows and 30 species have been left. In a country where people have faith that 33 crores of Deities exist in a cow and cows are revered so much, it is unfortunate that their slaughter is taking place at so high rate. Hindu Dharma is being attacked from all sides, through various means, like conversions, terrorism, denigration of Deities, insult of Saints, following of western culture, pollution of River Ganges etc. along with cow-slaughter. These attacks can be faced with ‘Dharma-shikshan’, abiding by Dharma, creating awareness towards matters related to Dharma for protection of Dharma. Establishment of Hindu Rashtra is the only solution to all the above attacks.

Pujya Bharati Didi, daughter of H.H. Asarambapu, Mahamandalseshwar Devendrananda Giriji Maharaj of Vrundavan, the ‘Mahamantri’ of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti (ABSS)’, Swami Paramatmanandaji Maharaj, National Secretary of ABSS, Swami Sunil Shastri and Swami Hari Om Baba of ‘Yoga Vedanta Samiti’ shared the dais. About 800 devotees from ‘Bahavani-Patna’ area attended the program.
