Sri-Kshetra Paithan (Dist. Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra) : On 31st July 2012, a meeting was held by the Government with three members of Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) and Government officials in connection with carrying out changes in the provisions of anti-superstitions Bill. Then the modified Bill was put up before Warkaris in a meeting held on 19th December 2012. It has therefore, come to light from these papers that the Government had prepared the draft without taking Warkaris into confidence. The Government that claimed of not passing the Bill without taking Warkaris into confidence, has betrayed Warkaris, stated H.B.P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal, the President of Maharashtra State Warkari Mahamandal exposing the Government. He presented the related papers before reporters giving information about meeting with the Government which made clear that the Government has deceived Warkaris. H.B.P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal addressed the press conference held on the occasion of Convention organized at Paithan by ‘Akhil Bharataiya Sant Samiti (ABSS)’ in the context of protection of cows, Dharma and Nation.

Mahamantri of ABSS, H.B.P. Rameshwar Maharaj Shastri, H.B.P. Dnyaneshwar Vishnu Maharaj Kolhapurkar, the President of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mandir from Sri-Kshetra Apegaon, H.B.P. Prakash Maharaj Bodhale, H.B.P. Bapu Maharaj Raokar, the President of Rashtreeya Warkari Sena for Konkan Region, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra, H.B.P. Baburao Maharaj Wagh etc. were present on the occasion.

Cancel the anti-superstitions Bill ! – H.B.P. Rameshwar Shastri

The Government has not kept its promise of appointing joint Committee consisting of Warkaris and Government officials in connection with anti-superstitions Bill; thus the Government has back-stabbed Warkaris. This anti-Dharma Bill should be cancelled.

Anti-superstitions bill is not acceptable ! – H.B.P. Wagh Maharaj

Anti-Dharma, anti-Sampradaya people and atheists are pressurizing the Government to pass anti-superstitions Bill. The Bill, that treats Hindus’ customs and traditions as superstitions, is not acceptable to us. If this Bill is passed, our fundamental right of abiding by Dharma will be withdrawn; therefore, the said Bill should be permanently cancelled.

The Govt. should not kowtow to ANS ! – Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, HJS

Shri. Sunil Ghanavat explained the misleading provisions in anti-superstitions bill to reporters. In terms of existing laws, crimes related to superstitions can be punished. If the Government feels that existing provisions are not adequate, the existing laws can be modified; but it should not kowtow to ANS and prepare new Act.
