A Special Discussion on ‘Is Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind trying to divide the Nation ?
Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, established in 1919, has openly supported the Partition of India and the creation of Pakistan. Furthermore, instead of going to Pakistan, the organization and its members stayed back in India. Now, it is telling Hindus to go to Pakistan. News has been published that Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind provides aid to Muslim terrorists and trains lakhs of youth every year. Inciting statements of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind regarding the CAA and the proposed Uniform Civil Code in some States are very serious. While speaking during a Special Discussion on ‘Is Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind trying to divide the Nation ?’, Mr Anand Jakhotiya, State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan has asked the Centre to consider the seriousness of the matter. He has demanded serious action against Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind.
Mr Vinod Bansal, National Spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad said, “On the one hand, organizations like Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind portray themselves to be patriots, while on the other, they follow the Sharia law, Triple talaq, Halala, etc. instead of following the laws of the land and the Indian Constitution. As a result, Muslim women and children are facing atrocities. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind is opposing the Uniform Civil Code. Those who openly support the Partition are now again talking of dividing the country. However, such organizations and people should remember that this is not the India that was during Partition times; today’s India is a strong nationalist country. We will not allow history to repeat itself.
Mr Amit Chimnani from the Sindhi Community in Chhattisgarh said that a fake narrative is being created that the minorities are suffering in India. However, these are the very people who agitate at places such as Shaheen Bagh (in Delhi) and block roads. Despite the Supreme Court’s ruling in favour of Hindus concerning the Shriram Temple, such people are threatening that they have given Babri, but will not give Gyanvapi ! They do not want to follow the Constitution and the law of the land, but want to play the victim card. Such arrogance and conduct should be opposed everywhere.
